They’re big and beautiful and I want one.

....... now that's what I call a proper boat
It always happens, if I have to go to work in an over-heated
office the weather forecast is for wall to wall sunshine. On Tuesday I crawled
out of a warm bed at sparrows fart, showered in a bathroom that had ice on the
inside of the windows and set-off to travel to the depths of Essex. Then I sat in a conference room and looked
out at glorious sunshine and wished I was back on my boat. I finished early and decided to have a look
at the nearby coast, stepped out the car, felt the blast of the icy wind and
thought that maybe the conference room had been the best place after all,
especially as they’d provided a good lunch.
I did manage a walk along Hythe Quay at Maldon, only a short walk
because it was cold and I am a wimp. It
was still long enough to fall in love with The Thames sailing barges that were
moored along the quayside.
